Halloween! Scary!
Halloween at the Lund house. Michelle starts on the pumpkin.
Bubbles and candy - I'd be happy, too!
Eli admires the bubble he blew while Yukari (our International Friendship student who attends Gustavus) watches.
Milena has her own way of blowing bubbles. It requires extreme concentration.
OK, here's a rundown on the night's costume choices. Eli is, as he puts it, a "fire truck." Kelson is wearing a skeleton shirt, which is as much of a costume as he'd allow. When we asked Milena what she wanted to be, she said, "a scary monster!" She might have too many brothers. Koleman is a police officer.
OK, back to the pumpkin. Koleman designed the face, and Michelle cut it out.
Oddly enough, this is what she does to me at the end of every day.
The kids were playing a game with Sayaka (Yukari's friend). I'm not sure of the precise rules, but it did involve throwing balls at people. Yukari and Sayaka (not sure if that's spelled right) joined us for the evening, since Halloween isn't something that they do in Japan.
Kelson is attempting to communicate something to Michelle, but I'm not sure what.

"I'm a scary monster! Wee!"

Apparently Koleman is the police officer from the Village People.
There was another digital camera in the house. Damn it!
Eli and Sayaka play catch.
Michelle is one tough kitty.
So tough, in fact, that she took down the police officer.
And that made Kelson very, very sad.
But TV and a friend make everything better.
Milena will get to the bottom of this!

Our Halloween feast - Goblin's Eyes, Vampire Fangs with Blood, Werewolf Claws, and ... cheese bread. (Slabs of Cheesy Death?) Michelle goes nuts sometimes.
Koleman somehow gets to sit between the two young ladies. Hmmm....
OK, finally time to go Trick-or-Treating.
Really, we're almost ready to go.
OK, seriously, we're going to leave now. But does Pooh have to come with?
Yes! We made it! We're doing it! MORE CANDY!!!
