Christmas!!!!

Hey, we had Christmas here in lovely St. Peter! How cool was that? We got a visit from Annie, who got a lucky Christmas kiss from Kelson.

And Annie's big sis Elisabeth came over too. She just got beat up.

Ooooh! Presents! Too bad none of those were for the kids. ALL MINE!!!!

We have one kid who truly appreciates the fine art of eating.

She knows she's cute!

Eli was waiting ... very ... paitently ... for ....... PRESENTS!

Finally, it's time to open the presents. Grandma and Grandpa Lund offer assistance.

Kelson was content with his first present. He just wanted to sit by mom and play with his new toy.

The kids' cousin Greta was here with her mom and dad. The kids had lots of fun.

My brother Jason shows off two amazing jars of wonderful stuff. I think.

One of the real highlights of the evening was the bubble wrap my dad used in wrapping my mom's present. There isn't a lot that's more fun than jumping up and down on bubble wrap.

Wheeee!

Santa brought presents too. What luck!

And finally it was time to play with the presents. Oooh, look at all the little parts!

New presents are great and all, but what's more fun than putting a cooking pot over your head?

Go buckets, go!

Milena overlooks Polly Pocket Land. Looks like my kind of town.

Koleman works hard on his fancy new Playmobil zoo.

Eli and Grandpa spend some time working on their fancy new gadgets.

Kelson's ECFE Class

On Thursday was Kelson's final ECFE class of the year. It's the one day he gets to go to school like the big kids.

He likes to play with the animals. He gets "Horsey" right, but kept calling the cows "dogs". Inexcusable.

Kelson's friend Julia was helping her Mom tape. Very helpful, I'm sure.

"... this truck phone will self-destruct in 5 seconds..."

Kelson is helping his teacher, Diane, open up the parachute.

Kelson likes to abandon me for a more suitable parent. Luckily Julia came and sat in my lap so I wasn't all alone.

Time for Kelson to do his schoolwork! Man, does he love glue sticks!

Ah ha! He switched to markers. Brilliant!

As this picture clearly shows, Kelson is far and away the most advanced child in the class.

Free at last!

More Random Photos

Eli got a cool bomber jacket from Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Larry for Christmas (yes, Christmas has already started!). He makes a good model.

Here is Eli with Morgan Johnson. Morgan is the daughter of Susan, Koleman and Eli's "daycare lady" from Eagan. She came down to watch a GAC basketball game, and then came to visit us. Yeah!

Here's Morgan with all the kids.

On Tuesday we went to a Christmas party, which was a great excuse for Milena to get messy.

The other kids were watching the entertainment. Kelson had ice cream to eat, and didn't want to be bothered.

Speaking of the entertainment...

Although, what's more entertaining than messing with somebody else's Christmas tree?

Random Pictures

Just some random pictures. Here the kids are having popcorn while they watch some Popeye cartoons.

Upset that his Roller Coaster Tycoon game wasn't working, Koleman built an amusement park ride of his own.

See how proud he is?

See, random pictures...

Milena is a princess butterfly... or something. Anyway, she got a cute little outfit from Grandma Ginger.

And there were some masks for the boys.

And this is the last one.

Thanksgiving!

It was over the river and through (well, near) some woods, to grandmother (Karen)'s house we went. A bunch of people were in attendance, including Kelson and Milena, who were busy decorating their Thanksgiving placemats.

Kelson was obviously proud of his work.

Uncle Jason and Aunt Beckey were in charge of the bird. Here Jason is working on the gravy. At least I hope that is supposed to be gravy.

Eli is having Aunt Daisy read him a book, while Grandma Lou and Aunt Helen look on.

It's kissing time! Kelson hits the mark...

... and so does Eli...

... but Milena is just a bit too high.

Koleman, Eli and Milena are gazing at the first snowfall. Trust me, there are snowflakes falling. It wasn't much, but it was snow!

Grandpa Lindy got the good chair, of course. :-)

This is an extreme close-up of Kelson's hand. Apparently he suddenly got camera shy.

The world famous kids' table! Grandma Karen and Aunt Beckey keep the kids in line.

Eli really liked his meal!

Koleman and cousin Greta were having some fun playing together.

Damn you, tryptophan!

Oh no!!! Horrors!!!

Just about time to leave, and the kids put on a tumbling presentation.

More tumbling.

Just before a graceful dive.

Bodies strewn about the floor. Casualties of a horrible somersault accident. Guess it's finally time to go.
