Our Thanksgiving Vacation, Part II

Thanksgiving day was spent at Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Larry's house, where there was barely enough food for everyone to eat. Here are the three biggest boys looking cute. Despite this photographic evidence, Eli is not bigger than Jonny.

Isn't that sweet?

Hey, let's get seven little kids to sit nicely for a big picture! And then let's confuse them by having two cameras for them to look at!

They are a pretty cute bunch of kids.

Obligatory kids table picture.

Go Falcons!

Our Thanksgiving Vacation, Part I

We went to Bismarck for Thanksgiving, but broke up the trip out there with a stop at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria. Attached to the resort was the Big Splash water park, which the kids completely enjoyed. Here is the section of the park where Eli, Milena and Kelson spent most of their time. Milena and Eli went down the slides, but Kelson kept his vest on and stayed in the safety of the shallows.

Milena is very wet and very happy. And heading towards very bloodshot.

Eli is happy that he could go down the slides for the little kids.

Milena prepares for a future as a swimsuit model.

The three big boys take a trip down the lazy river.

Eli got an excellent workout staying on top of his part of the tube. Good exercise for those legs.

A final picture of the kids, mostly wet, mostly happy, and pretty darn tired.

A Brand New Hair Style

Milena is sporting a real fancy new hairdo here. Eli, Milena and Kelson were playing "haircut" with their new self-driving trains. Apparently having long hair can be a bit of a problem.

Winter Fun?!?!?

Well, we got the first snow of the season, so we also have the first snow pictures of the season. After I got Eli and Milena all dressed up in their snow outfits to go on the bus, Kelson wanted to play outside, too. So out we went. As per usual, Kelson wanted to mow the snow.

And now Kelson is off to explore the great white world!

"Dang it! The snow is just too hard to mow!" I feel that way all the time.

Kids Playing in Leaves, Again!

We spent some time outside raking leaves on these beautiful days we've been having. On this day, Koleman was doing an after school activity, so the little ones got to play in the leaf pile all by themselves.

Kelson thinks it's a wonderful thing.

Milena uses her blazing speed!

Eli and Kelson are ready to charge into the leaves.

Before they could jump into the leaves, they had to get ready, strike a pose, and shout something. Eli was yelling, "Dino Thunder!", and Kelson generally yelled, "Wiggles!"

Eli looks proud of himself. Of course, Kelson appears to be on a collision course.

It looks like Kelson really did knock Eli out.

Uh oh! He's awake, and he's mad!

Now it's Kelson's turn to have a crash.

And what good are leaves if you can't throw them in the air?

Wheeee!

The Family Out for a Walk

We went for a walk on a trail last week, and attempted to take some cute pictures of the kids. I did manage to provide more evidence for those who think that I enjoy taking pictures of my kids while they are crying.

Kelson wasn't too happy to walk. He thinks that since he's the baby he should be carried all the time.

Life is rough.

We tried to get the kids to sit together and take a nice group picture.

Not sure what Milena's looking at.

OK, that one didn't work.

Kelson is still recovering from me making him walk.

Koleman is nothing more than a head.

Well, Kelson has gotten all the way to "slight smirk."

This picture probably won't be getting framed.

Game Over.

Halloween!

Yes, even in St. Peter we have Halloween. Koleman was a wizard, Eli a police officer, Milena was a princess and Kelson was a fire fighter. Whoopee!

Our International Friendship Student from Japan, Sayaka, came over for supper and to join in the trick-or-treating. She was a pirate. "Aaargh!"

Action shot! Watching four year olds try to figure out which way the door will open and how to get out of the way is pretty good entertainment.

"We want your candy, but we won't move aside to let you open the door!"

Two princesses.
