Hey Dad!

You might be able to take a snapshot of me, but when I take a snapshot of you, I know what to do with it!

(It would have been done much sooner, but I got sidetracked...)

Snow, snow, snow

Personally, I'm not much of a snow lover. And that long stretch of cold weather just about made me insane. However, the winter has provided a lot of fun outside time for kids. Here's a picture from mid-December. A slightly warm day made for great fort building fun. All the kids had ice cream buckets to make snow blocks for the wall.

Since then, the winter has given us lots of snow, followed by extremely cold weather, which has created the best environment for side-of-the-house sledding since we've lived here. They've worn down a smooth, fast track with multiple lanes, and in nearly two months of sledding, the grass has yet to show through. Most of their sledding lanes narrowly avoid dangerous objects which could cause serious injuries. We've only had one bloody nose so far this year! Anyway, here's a little video of Eli and Kelson sledding:

Dress Warmly

Kelson shows how to properly dress for a cold Minnesota winter. As long as there is enough space for him to see, I think he's ready to go outside and play!
