Christmas!!!!

Hey, we had Christmas here in lovely St. Peter! How cool was that? We got a visit from Annie, who got a lucky Christmas kiss from Kelson.

And Annie's big sis Elisabeth came over too. She just got beat up.

Ooooh! Presents! Too bad none of those were for the kids. ALL MINE!!!!

We have one kid who truly appreciates the fine art of eating.

She knows she's cute!

Eli was waiting ... very ... paitently ... for ....... PRESENTS!

Finally, it's time to open the presents. Grandma and Grandpa Lund offer assistance.

Kelson was content with his first present. He just wanted to sit by mom and play with his new toy.

The kids' cousin Greta was here with her mom and dad. The kids had lots of fun.

My brother Jason shows off two amazing jars of wonderful stuff. I think.

One of the real highlights of the evening was the bubble wrap my dad used in wrapping my mom's present. There isn't a lot that's more fun than jumping up and down on bubble wrap.

Wheeee!

Santa brought presents too. What luck!

And finally it was time to play with the presents. Oooh, look at all the little parts!

New presents are great and all, but what's more fun than putting a cooking pot over your head?

Go buckets, go!

Milena overlooks Polly Pocket Land. Looks like my kind of town.

Koleman works hard on his fancy new Playmobil zoo.

Eli and Grandpa spend some time working on their fancy new gadgets.

Kelson's ECFE Class

On Thursday was Kelson's final ECFE class of the year. It's the one day he gets to go to school like the big kids.

He likes to play with the animals. He gets "Horsey" right, but kept calling the cows "dogs". Inexcusable.

Kelson's friend Julia was helping her Mom tape. Very helpful, I'm sure.

"... this truck phone will self-destruct in 5 seconds..."

Kelson is helping his teacher, Diane, open up the parachute.

Kelson likes to abandon me for a more suitable parent. Luckily Julia came and sat in my lap so I wasn't all alone.

Time for Kelson to do his schoolwork! Man, does he love glue sticks!

Ah ha! He switched to markers. Brilliant!

As this picture clearly shows, Kelson is far and away the most advanced child in the class.

Free at last!

Eli got a cool bomber jacket from Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Larry for Christmas (yes, Christmas has already started!). He makes a good model.

Here is Eli with Morgan Johnson. Morgan is the daughter of Susan, Koleman and Eli's "daycare lady" from Eagan. She came down to watch a GAC basketball game, and then came to visit us. Yeah!

Here's Morgan with all the kids.

On Tuesday we went to a Christmas party, which was a great excuse for Milena to get messy.

The other kids were watching the entertainment. Kelson had ice cream to eat, and didn't want to be bothered.

Speaking of the entertainment...

Although, what's more entertaining than messing with somebody else's Christmas tree?
