My guess is --
Poodle ear hair
I was going to guess poodle hair, but I see it's been taken, and she'd know if it was grandpa hair, so that guess is right out as well. Dust bunnies? (which would be partially poodle hair, but with bonus bits).
Grandma nailed it right away. Not just poodle hair, but poodle hair taken from poodle ears. It was a nice softball sized bunch of hair.
Those poor poodles must have been almost deaf!!!!! What a sense of relief they must have felt.
I think having the ear hair was relief. Who wants to really have to listen to Kevin ;)

Can you delete the pictures now? Plllllease?? I don't care what kind of hair it is...hair is hair, and when it's in big clumps like that it's kind of nasty.
But hey, nice job cleaning up those poodles! I'll let you know when Miles is ready for his first cut.
