Before and After
Here is your standard issue Magnetix ball, about half an inch in diameter. It's nice and shiny, and a beautiful thing to behold.
Now, here is what one of those balls looks like after a week in the digestive system of a two year old. Not nearly so pretty.
A side by side comparison shows the disparity between the two balls. Hopefully the fact that the digested ball has an interesting story to tell will prevent it from being picked on by the shiny, "cool", balls. If nothing else, I'm sure it learned a valuable lesson.

Evan is wondering if he can get the rights to these so he can use them in one of his talks at the hospital! GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! And also pretty cute... :-)
As long as I am properly credited, these photos may be freely used for any educational purpose. You could also have the actual balls, but that would probably cost you. :-)
