Anyway, we went to the San Diego Zoo. It was nice, but we were expecting more since it is the "World Famous San Diego Zoo" after all. We started out by seeing the panda. We could only see this one, since the others were in some kind of a special breeding place (apparently they didn't want the kiddies seeing something like this).
We went on a bus tour. Here is Eli looking at a giraffe.
OK, the koalas were cute. But koalas can't help but be cute. If they weren't cute, they'd be extinct by now. Do you think they'd get as much support as they do if they looked like the star nosed mole?
I'm not sure why these koala bears were trying to escape.

Once again we are saved by glass. If that glass wall wasn't there we would have been in big trouble. Just look at the rage, the fury, the unbridled hate on the face of that hippo.
OK, maybe you can't see that on his face, but it is true - hippos are nasty.
