Matt & Susan live on the sixth floor of their apartment, and their balcony gives a great view of the Catania landscape.
Wait, not that view. That's just a bunch of dirty buildings, many of them under construction. Pan the camera to the north a bit...
That's better! You still get dirty buildings, but you also get the view of Mount Etna. It's the largest volcano in Europe, and it dominates Catania (and most of eastern Sicily). It's a great reference point if you're lost - the huge mountain is north of Catania.
A slightly zoomed in view shows steam escaping from a vent on Etna. It is currently considered to be erupting. At night we could see the red glow of the lava, but I was unable to take a picture which showed that.

How much time lapsed on the video and what were you doing during the lapse?
The video has about two hours of real world time on it. I was eating and playing Golf with Isabel, if I remember correctly.
